Directions

To the Church of Christ at Greenpoint
The Church is in a residential area, and parking is limited. You are advised to use mass transit if at all possible. Otherwise, you may spend half the morning or evening looking for a parking space (seriously).
Basically, the Church is located on North Henry St. in Greenpoint, (northwest corner of Brooklyn, just south of Long Island City, Queens)  between Nassau and Norman Aves. (closer to Nassau),  6 blocks east of McGuiness Blvd., west side of street. It is in the block just north of Monsignor McGolrick Park.

The Church is not far from the Nassau Ave. station of the G subway line. You can get the G easily on weekends and late evenings - the trains run frequently.

It is not always possible to make the transfers above on weekends. Check with the Transit Authority about changes.

Note that all transfers suggested above are free.

From Manhattan Ave.  walk east  on Nassau Ave., about 9 (short) blocks to North Henry St (across from park on right).  Left on North Henry St. to the Church.

You can also get the B48 Bus on Nassau Ave, between Manhattan Ave. and North Henry St. However, it can be a long wait on weekends. If you know the B48 route, you can take it from anywhere it stops south of Greenpoint. There is also a free transfer to it from the L train at the Lorimer St. station.
